1. Introduction

Life Scenario (“we,” “our,” “us”) is owned and operated by Life Scenario Pte. Ltd., a company based in Singapore. We are committed to protecting your and your child’s privacy and ensuring safe, responsible use of our platform.

Life Scenario is a learning and play environment that helps children (ages 6–14) practise social and emotional skills through short, gamified life scenarios.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the platform safely and effectively.

2.1 Personal Information

• Child’s first name or nickname, age, and avatar (entered by parent or child)
• Parent’s email address (for account creation, progress tracking, and communications)

2.2 Gameplay Data

• Voice responses (recorded and converted to text for AI feedback)
• Life Scenario scores, progress records, practice levels per trait, and badges earned

2.3 Technical Data

• Device type, operating system, and anonymised usage logs for performance and troubleshooting

2.4 AI Assistant Connector

Our public connector for AI assistants (lifescenario.ai/mcp) lets assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT answer questions using Life Scenario’s public content: SEL traits, practice scenarios and “What to say” guides. It works without an account and is read-only.

• It cannot see or return any account, parent or child data, and it never receives children’s answers.
• The assistant sends us only the short search text needed to find a match (for example, “left out at recess”) and, if the adult gives it, the child’s age as a number from 6 to 14. We use them to answer that request and do not store them or link them to a person.
• Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard technical request logs (such as time, IP address and response status, not the search text) for up to 30 days, for security and troubleshooting. Nobody else receives this data.
• What you type into the assistant itself is handled by the assistant’s provider under its own privacy policy.

2.5 Website Analytics & Cookies

To see how our website is used, we run three analytics tools on our public pages and on the pages parents and educators use. They are switched off on the screens a signed-in child uses (the game, progress, collection and avatar screens). The try-it page that works without an account is a public page, so they run there too.

• Google Analytics 4 (Google) uses cookies. It records page views and actions such as signing up, starting a checkout and completing a purchase. For a signed-in adult it also records the account ID, not a name or email address. On sign-in and account pages, one-time tokens and email addresses are removed from page addresses before they are sent.
• Ahrefs Web Analytics does not use cookies. It runs on our public pages only and counts page views.
• Vercel Web Analytics, from our hosting provider, does not use cookies. It counts page views by page address, without anything after the “?”.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

• Provide and improve our educational content
• Personalize learning experiences
• Process payments
• Send important updates and notifications

We do not use personal data for targeted advertising or behavioural marketing.

4. How We Share Your Information

• All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Voice recordings are anonymised and deleted once processed for gameplay feedback
• Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only
• We never sell, rent, or trade personal data

5. Data Retention

• Gameplay data is stored only while the account remains active
• Parents may request deletion of their child’s data at any time
• Inactive accounts may be deleted after 24 months of non-use

6. Sharing of Data

We share data only when necessary:

• With trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting or AI processing partners) under strict confidentiality and security agreements
• With legal authorities, if required by law to protect safety or comply with regulations

We never share children’s data with advertisers, analytics networks, or social-media platforms.

7. Parents’ Rights

Parents and guardians may at any time:

• Access their child’s personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of their child’s account and data
• Withdraw consent for data processing

8. International Data Transfers

Life Scenario operates from Singapore but may use servers located in other countries.

9. Credit Packs & Payments

Life Scenario is paid for with one-off credit packs. Payments for credit packs are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI DSS-compliant global payment platform.

We do not collect or store credit-card details. Stripe may collect limited billing information (name, email, and payment method) solely for payment completion and fraud prevention.

Each credit pack is a single, one-off purchase. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal: you are only charged when you choose to buy a pack. Purchased credits do not expire.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on Life Scenario — including scenarios, artwork, avatars, characters, rewards, and software — is owned by Life Scenario Pte. Ltd. and protected under copyright and intellectual-property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the platform without written permission.

11. Educator & Institutional Use

Life Scenario offers an Educator Model for classroom or structured group use.

Schools and professionals using Life Scenario with groups can purchase the Institutional credit pack or contact us at privacy@lifescenario.ai.

Educators using Life Scenario with groups may:

• Use Life Scenario in classrooms or structured group sessions
• Create and manage multiple student profiles
• Access the Educator Dashboard for class analytics and reporting

Educators using Life Scenario with groups may not:

• Share or distribute content outside their classroom or group sessions
• Resell, sublicense, or adapt Life Scenario materials without permission

12. Gameplay Rules

• Life Scenario presents short, daily scenarios for reflection and practice.
• Scoring and feedback are intended for learning and personal growth, not competition.
• AI feedback varies between answers and can be wrong. Treat it as a starting point for a conversation. Scores should be interpreted as guidance, not exact measures.
• Any misuse (cheating, harmful responses, or inappropriate content) may result in suspension or termination of an account.

13. Safety & Liability

Life Scenario is designed to be a safe, positive environment for children to practise emotional and social skills. However, Life Scenario is provided “as is”, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We are not responsible for:

• Internet or connectivity issues
• Device malfunctions or incompatibility
• Misuse of the platform or unsupervised access

Parents remain responsible for supervising their child’s participation and account activity.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@lifescenario.ai. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or misuse the platform.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy & Terms of Use periodically.
Parents will be notified of material changes via email or an in-platform message.
The Effective Date above indicates the latest version.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of Singapore.
Any disputes will be resolved exclusively under Singapore jurisdiction.
